Approximately 1/2" by 3/16" sterling bail that you can set stones in. The manufacturer recommends Swarvoski flat-back rhinestones 16 pt., 12 pt., and 9 pt. For those of us, including me, who don't know a pt. from a hole in the ground, the top hole is a scant 1/8", the middle is about 3/32", and the smallest is about 1/16".
